The first book club meeting is inspired by the new English translation of The Aesthetics of Resistance by Joel Scott and its launch at the Fourth World, an event that left many wondering if now might actually be the right time to tackle this challenging book.
This evening left them with the feeling that it's not only possible, but perhaps important to try. They want to connect with others who are just as curious, unsure, and perhaps even excited to start reading. At this first meeting, they want to discuss what pace and format suits them and how they can support each other in their reading.
Everyone is welcome, whether you've already started reading, are just thinking about it, or are still unsure.
