Street theatre, acrobatics, live music, food, a fire show and much more – all on the sandy beach and in a great neighbourhood atmosphere – can be found at the traditional Lake Festival at the Orankesee lido.

Guests can look forward to a colourful programme for the whole family.
Highlights of the family festival will be the birthday parade by Fanfare Gertrude with many performing artists and the birthday children's party.To mark its 20th birthday, the Komponistenviertel will be playing favourite songs from the neighbourhood: rock, pop, soul and reggae, from classics to current chart hits. They'll put everyone in a great mood and fill the dance floor on the sandy beach!
In addition to the show and the birthday programme, there will be other highlights: Sandstrand-Swing with the Swingin' Pops, world-class urban dance with ICU from the Flying Steps school, sing-along with the OrankeChor, Europe in the neighbourhood in the Europe tent, comedy and circus show with Los Hobos, the most spectacular flea circus in the world, a stilt walk act, a bench for giants, pantomime and a fire show.
Volleyball and rugby fans, table tennis players and boules enthusiasts will of course also get their money's worth. Balls, nets, rackets and boules are provided; they are just waiting for their players.
The Lake Festival has become one of the summer highlights in the Lichtenberg district.
It is organised on a voluntary basis by the Förderverein Obersee & Orankesee e.V., which will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2025.

- Adults pay 6 euros VVK, 8 euros at the box office.
