What does it mean to be inclusive in sports? What challenges and changes does this entail? And what are the implications for the culture of history and remembrance at the Grünau Water Sports Museum?

Two events will explore these questions. The “Regattageschnatter” discussion series aims to engage in conversation with you on this topic—with the goal of telling the history of sports in an inclusive way.

The focus is on experiences from recreational sports: Who can participate—and under what conditions? How can structures be made more inclusive?

7:00–8:30 p.m.: Panel discussion

  • Martin Heymann or Felix Baumert – member of the Queerschlag rowing group (SCBG)
  • Atilla Oener – boxing coach
  • Niklas Schmidt – surfer
  • Sebastian Stuart – rower and Special Olympics participant
