Kasia Wolińska’s new dance solo is inspired by Władysław Hasiors’ fire sculptures and stems from the urge to set something ablaze:
The choreography becomes a meditation on a world in flames, a sacrificial rite of mourning and birth.
“Phoenix.Sun” is created in collaboration with composer Heinali and video artist Denis Kozerawski: Carried by live music and images, the dancing body on stage undergoes a constant cycle of creation and decay.
The work invites the audience to gaze into a sea of flames—to a shared evocation of beauty, horror, and transformation.
