Following the strong visitor interest last year, the gates of the Erkner S-Bahn depot will once again open in 2025 for a very special weekend. The Historical S-Bahn Association, together with S-Bahn Berlin, invites you to an exciting and entertaining program focusing on the history and future of S-Bahn transport.

Visitors can expect a diverse program:

From informative tours of the factory halls to fascinating insights into the world of historic and modern S-Bahn trains. In the driving simulator, guests can climb into the virtual cab and try their hand at being a train driver. Vehicles from long-distance and regional services will also be on display on site.

A special highlight is the introductory ride on a heritage Class 475 ("Stadtbahn") train on the factory premises. Nostalgics can also look forward to a reunion with the former Class 485 – affectionately known as the "Coke Can." On Saturday, seats from these old trains will even be sold for a good cause.

A varied stage and children's program, as well as colorful walk-through acts, will provide entertainment. Culinary offerings will round out the day and ensure your physical well-being.

Those who would like to combine the event with a short excursion can take a special tour with the Oldtimer Bus Verein Berlin – for example, to the idyllic Woltersdorf Lock, just 15 minutes away.

A festival for technology fans, families, and anyone who wants to experience the Berlin S-Bahn from a new perspective!
