NO:BOOKS is a publishing platform for collective publishing of original graphic books. Together, we realize original graphic artworks and actively engage with the craft of analog printing techniques such as screen printing and letterpress printing for the realization of artistic book projects.

In fall 2023, the first “NO:BOOK” saw the light of day with “No Drone Zone,” which brings together 12 artistic perspectives on the object of the drone. Screen-printed entirely by hand in three colors, futuristic-dystopian scenarios and mythical references are juxtaposed with formal and abstract translations of the principle of “surveillance and technology.”

In the second round of NO:BOOKS in 2024, a new selection of artists once again devoted themselves to a specific printing technique in order to explore the limits of the technology through experiments and trials. This time, the motifs were printed in three colors using relief printing or linocut. “No Solo” brings together individual artistic positions as well as a collaborative work in which two artists responded to each other and thus created a graphic together.

The collective idea is at the heart of NO:BOOKS. It is an attempt to bring together individual working methods, styles, and positions in publication concepts and allow them to interact within this framework. Here, the individual benefits from the dynamics and expertise of the entire group.
