Spherical synthesizer sounds, snotty horn riffs, and groovy basslines meet danceable beats. Over this, a warm, virtuosic voice moves between intense singing, rap, and improvisation. Milonaut sounds as if Fat Freddy’s Drop, Parcels, Sophie Hunger, Pink Floyd, and Radiohead had come together to make danceable music.

The lyrics are intimate evocations that hover between memory and the present. Through dark, tender imagery, they tell of love, queer identity, and loss. This creates a sonic space that feels both musical and literary: modern, romantic, dark—yet still danceable. Milonaut celebrates the fragility of these emotions and touches the listener with quiet gestures.

The band thrives on its unbridled stage energy. Anyone who sees and hears Milonaut live immediately notices that there are four people on stage who want to sweep the audience away.

Through the seamless transitions between songs, Milonaut creates a magnetic pull, like a DJ set you never want to end. Their sound constantly takes new turns—the beat, sometimes gentle, sometimes swaggy, sometimes rock-driven and rough. Milonaut creates spaces for dancing and daydreaming.

The multi-award-winning musicians (Nahaufnahme Berliner Festspiele, Bundeswettbewerb Gesang, Busking World Cup) with years of touring experience (Sophie Hunger, Alice Phoebe Lou, May The Muse) captivate audiences both as an intimate duo and with a full lineup. Following two EPs (“More Than Moon,” 2021; “Dare Love,” 2023), numerous concerts, and winning the Colabo competition in 2022, their debut album is set to be released in 2026.

It represents the logical evolution of their multi-layered, danceable, and emotional sound, blending attitude, poetry, and energy. The release will be accompanied by a tour where Milonaut will bring their sound—blending intimacy, ecstasy, and political tenderness—to life on stage.
