Marcos Coll – From his early days at 14 playing on the smoky, vice-filled streets and bars of Santiago de Compostela to performing at the Berlin Philharmonie, and from touring with legends like Buddy Miles and Mick Taylor to collaborations with musicians from around the world at countless festivals and theaters — Marcos Coll stands as one of the most influential harmonica players in the world. Since 2006, his portrait has even appeared on the boxes of Hohner harmonicas, the world’s most famous harmonica brand, for which he has been a key endorser.
Over a career spanning more than thirty years, with over a dozen albums and thousands of performances across the globe — from Europe to the Democratic Republic of Congo, from India to the Americas — Coll has pushed the boundaries of his instrument like no other. On his latest album NÒMADE, created in Berlin where he has lived since 2004, Coll blends Galician, Spanish, and Latin American music, exploring his roots and the musical experiences gathered over a lifetime.
