Based on the play by Alexis Michalik, presented by the Troupe En Scène! in Berlin
The En Scène! theater company in Berlin will present "Le Porteur d’Histoire," based on the work by Alexis Michalik, at the ACUD Theater on July 3, 4, and 5, 2026—in French on all evenings, with German surtitles on Friday and Saturday. A gripping play, structured like a literary and historical treasure hunt, in which stories intertwine, eras enter into dialogue with one another, and the secrets of the past gradually come to light.

Synopsis
On a rainy night, two men discover a handwritten notebook that takes them on a journey through history. Fifteen years later, two
strangers turn up in the kitchen of a mother and her daughter. One story leads to the next, and the narrative traces back to the legendary disappearance of a noble family during the French Revolution.
A fabulous treasure awaits whoever can solve the mystery…
In about twenty interwoven scenes, in which the present and the past mirror one another, *Le Porteur d’Histoire* takes the audience on a rhythmic, novel-like, and mysterious theatrical journey through different eras—navigating between memory, tradition, adventure, and grand historical narratives.
The En Scène ! Troupe
Since 2010, En Scène!’s workshops have given rise to annual collective theater productions, driven by the participants themselves. In Berlin, this human and artistic adventure brings together Francophones and Francophiles around theater, the French language, and the joy of performing together.
The theater group stands for the passing on of traditions, encounters, and collective creativity—right at the heart of Berlin’s Francophone community.
