In the summer of 2025, the two musicians celebrated not only their 60th birthdays but also their 15-year musical collaboration—reason enough to mark the occasion with a new program and a series of concerts. In addition to the singer’s own lyrics, they’ll perform songs by Rio Reiser, Leonard Cohen (with German translations by Misha G. Schoenberg), and Italian classics, including works by Angelo Branduardi.
As a special touch, the duo had some of their own songs translated into Italian and have now given these songs a whole new twist. Let yourself be surprised.
The exceptional pianist Steffen Rose accompanies the songs with a touch of restraint yet great intensity, and at times he also plays the accordion.
