rbbKultur children's concert

An exciting musical experience for everyone over six years of age

rbb radio host Christian Schruff and the musicians of the DSO put together six programmes where works with exciting stories, sound samples and often with the involvement of school classes are presented on the stage of the Großer Sendesaal, the large broadcasting hall. Concertgoers aged six to twelve can discover things for themselves. They are allowed to join in, have a say and experiment – all before the concert.

Open House – giving instruments a try
At the Open House starting at 10:30 am, kids can get to know and try a wide range of instruments under the guidance of members of the orchestra – a great number of small experimental objects are available for this purpose. They can have their faces painted, do arts and crafts, sing and much more. The best parts of the concerts can be heard later on kulturradio on the Klassik für Kinder (Classics for Children) programme.
