Expert guided tour with sculpture curator Dr. Silke Kiesant, SPSG, to the Ovid and open-air gallery
On a tour of Frederick II's small guest palace in Sanssouci Park, visitors will not only learn exciting, sometimes tragically ending love stories from mythology, but also the latest information on the 20 important facade sculptures on the south side of Sanssouci's New Chambers that will be reinstalled in 2019, 2020 and 2021. The restoration of the four marble figures still missing for the south façade is in full swing and promises a truly "scholarly" stroll once completed.
