The blues rock band ‘The Jed Thomas Band’ will perform for the first time at Berlin's FRANNZ CLUB on Tuesday, 26 August 2025.
The band from Yorkshire (UK) promises a blues evening in a class of its own. The internationally acclaimed band has two brand new releases and two freshly remastered albums in tow, which they will present live.
Frontman Jed Thomas, a native of Leeds, thrills audiences with his unmistakable blues rock style, which he has already brought to the stage with greats such as Joe Bonamassa, the Rory Gallagher Band, Buddy Guy and Nine Below Zero. Musically, he moves between influences from Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and Rory Gallagher. His shows exude the charm of the 70s and offer plenty of room for improvisational highlights.
His guitar playing combines classic Delta blues, slide guitar and powerful electric blues to create a unique sound. Together with Paul Austwick on Hammond organ,
Nibbsy Toase on bass, Fiete Blümel on drums and Jack Foster on congas, the band creates unforgettable live moments. For all lovers of blues and rock music, this is an
absolute must-see concert.
Support will be provided by the new blues rock power trio Peter Schmidt's Dodge Boogie from Berlin, who will get the evening off to a great start with their V8 Texas Boogie.
