Long Night of the Museums

A short guided tour in English of the exhibition “Nature and German History: Faith – Biology – Power.”

The tour offers insights into the themes of environmental destruction and nature conservation over the past 800 years. Among other things, the exhibits shed light on the preservation of Lake Constance in the late Middle Ages, the exploitation of nature in the German colonial empire, the pollution of the Rhine in the 1960s, and the destruction of the landscape caused by mining.
