SPIELRAUM – the Days of the Independent Performing Arts Community in Berlin

If wind would be your language... is an artistic research with Butoh dance, video projection and a mainsail.

The dancer, musician and sailor creates whimsical shapes, shadows and sounds through her movement in nature shots projected onto a huge sail. The constantly changing interaction between body, light and textile creates a poetic visual language inspired by the elemental power of the wind. Based on hissing sounds and noises, the performer invites us to create a language out of air and thus become part of the scenery.

The event will conclude with an open discussion in which the artist will provide insights into her creative process and answer questions.

**Recommended for ages 10+, suitable for all ages. Especially for adults aged 18-70 with an interest in interdisciplinary art and participatory formats.
