Film & Talk #2030 – Staffel 15

The transport revolution is on everyone's lips and the mobility of the future has become one of the major trend topics. But why is this even important? If transport presents us with such major challenges, why don't we just stay at home? Is mobility a basic need?

It was precisely with this question in mind that director Kristian Gründling took to the streets, railway stations, trains, parks, petrol stations, garages, taxi drivers, research institutions, cities and the countryside. Using a camera and microphone, he explored very personal perspectives on everyday mobility.

A HUMAN RIDE is a filmic journey into the primal human need to be on the move.
