STATION TO STATION - Tour
David Bowie has shaped pop culture like hardly anyone else. The exceptional artist juggled with different styles such as rock, folk, funk, ambient or jazz and created an impressive musical life's work, which includes 26 albums that could hardly be more different. Bowie constantly reinvented himself over the decades and developed into a musical icon and art figure.
"Heroes - David Bowie Tribute" is a bow to Bowie's musical legacy. The enthusiasm for Bowie's music gave rise to the idea of playing his songs live and so the septet from Schwäbisch Hall was founded. Since 2016, the formation of studied musicians has been performing throughout Germany.
The band's repertoire includes a carefully selected cross-section of Bowie's long career. Classics such as "Heroes," "Let's Dance," "China Girl" or "Space Oddity," but also rarely heard songs from the Spiders from Mars era, the Berlin Trilogy and his late work are celebrated in a two-and-a-half-hour show.
In this year's "Station to Station Tour," the band is paying special attention to the 1976 album of the same name.
