Heinrich is young when he becomes King of England. The country is in ruins, the treasuries are empty, and the people are discontented. Being king isn’t all that easy. And as if that weren’t enough, he also starts a long war against France.
Using a cardboard castle and hand puppets, Annika Schaper and Robert Richter tell an inspiring story. It’s about a man whose power gets the better of him, a brave princess who refuses to just stand by and watch, instead taking her fate into her own hands, and a narrator who would prefer to stay out of it all. But is that allowed—to watch a war without intervening?
