Born from a spontaneous meeting at the Rabbit Hole Theater (Essen) in January 2023, Helicopter is an explosive collision of melody, noise, groove, and fearless improvisation. With Peter and Roland—longtime co-conspirators in the thrash-jazz trio Gorilla Mask—pushing their sound into uncharted sonic terrain, and Simon, a driving force in NRW’s avant-garde scene, injecting his distinctive rhythmic intensity, the result is an unpredictable ride—sometimes turbulent, always electrifying.
