Due to popular demand, the Operndolmuş, the musical shared taxi of the Komische Oper Berlin, is once again stopping in the neighbourhood, bringing opera directly to the people with a best-of programme.

VISUAL Operndolmus der Komischen Oper: Hadi Bakalim - Auf geht's!
On Friday, 27 February, at 6:30 p.m., under the motto ‘Hadi bakalım’ – meaning ‘Let's go!’ – the intercultural ensemble of Selam Opera! invites you on a musical journey with arias and duets from opera history, well-known operetta melodies and newly arranged pieces from other genres.
Classical music meets urbanity – accessible, humorous and right at the heart of life.
The content deals with departure, arrival, longing, love and courage – in other words, the big themes that opera has always dealt with. They are told in a form that touches people directly and reaches them regardless of their previous experience.
A musical afternoon that shows how lively musical theatre can be when it reaches people where they are.
Admission is free. Not as an exception, but as a principle: musical theatre should be accessible – without thresholds, without barriers. Everyone is welcome.
