The new umbrella brand for the reorientation of belektro: gedatec
The new umbrella name "gedatec" - the combination of building, roof and technology - underlines the thematic development of the belektro trade fair from 2026. In addition to the electrical trades, the SHK and roofing guilds will also be firmly integrated into the event in the future, which will place even greater emphasis on cross-trade exchange on the implementation of the energy transition in the building sector.

From 2026, gedatec will go a step further and establish itself as a central platform for smart and sustainable building technology. The trade fair combines an expanded mix of topics with tried and tested formats such as the journeyman rally and the workshop street, which will continue to provide practical insights and lively exchange.
The first gedatec will take place from October 13 to 15, 2026 at the Berlin exhibition center.
