FUN AT PARTIES is a fast-paced, electrifying new play that dives headfirst into Berlin's legendary nightlife scene and the misfits who keep it going. Set to the house and techno beats of the famed club scene, this production explores a city whose international residents live in drug-addled denial and consequence.
In a kaleidoscopic sequence of scenes, the play follows the lives of four club workers, exploring questions of belonging, burnout, migration, and identity in a city known for being everyone's playground—until the lights come on.
Featuring a pulsating soundtrack by Berlin musicians, Fun at Parties is a frenetic portrait of a cultural dream that's harder to live than it is to sell.

Berlin Open Theatre is an English-speaking company based in Berlin, Germany. This production features an all-female cast from the UK, Russia, the US, and Serbia. FUN AT PARTIES is their third theatre production, their second upcoming Edinburgh Fringe tour, and their first foray into new writing.
