DIY Music Festival

The festival is a meeting place for everyone who wants to rethink and shape music. Children and artists, nerds and curious minds, musicologists and sound tinkerers meet here – a place where different perspectives connect and new sound worlds emerge.


A diverse program with interactive workshops, sound experiments, performances, hands-on stations, and live concerts in the Säälchen (small auditorium) is offered.


This year's focus is on unconventional sound sources: water droplets, books, and even urban architecture, which will be explored as a resonant space and instrument.


Musical highlights include Jacques (France) with his playful and eccentric sound experiments, the Congolese electro-rum baroque solo project Kin'gongolo Kiniata, and El Khat (solo), who reinterprets Arab-African sounds with self-made instruments.


The festival is not only a space for acoustic discovery, but above all an invitation to participate. Whether electronic or analog, tinkered or completely simple – here, music is created from everyday objects, recycled materials, and a whole lot of creative energy.
