Yefim Bronfman is among the most frequent guests at the Pierre Boulez Saal: since his debut shortly after the hall’s opening in March 2017, the American pianist—who was born in the Soviet Union and grew up in Israel—has performed here every season.

For his latest solo recital, he presents pianos sonatas by Beethoven, Schubert, and Tchaikovsky together with Esa-Pekka Salonen’s Sisar, dedicated to Bronfman and premiered by him in Los Angeles in 2013.
