Exhibition: France by the sea

Using 52 photographs, 4 films and 26 videos, Maia Flore has created a small "journey with the sun". From Corsica to the beaches of northern France, the artist visited the 26 coastal towns between May and October 2016 and staged them in her photographs. Her artistic signature is unmistakable. She dedicated an entire day to each place so that she could work playfully with the changing sunlight. In keeping with her dream-like worlds, which she conceives in her works, the artist used a prism through which the destinations appear contemplative and lively at the same time
