Charity event
In the first part of the evening, "Shared Suffering," Yael Schüler conveys the authentic accounts of two mothers through empathetic acting, alternating back and forth between one side and the other. Almost like a dialogue that never took place, but represents the desire for both sides to truly see each other:

Ein Abend für Gaza
A Palestinian mother whose son was kidnapped and tortured in the 1990s, and an Israeli mother who was held hostage in Gaza with her almost 6-year-old daughter.
The second part is a poetic and musical treatment of the events. We hear poems by Thaer Ayoub and Asaf Dvori, with musical interventions by Louise Sinclair singing in Arabic and Hebrew.
