They are Helena & Annie, passionate chanson singers for many years! Initially performing primarily as soloists, they met at the chanson workshop of the renowned Brecht interpreter Gina Pietsch, where they discovered their musical soul mate.

The title of their evening, "Ein Tröpfchen Herzblut mit Rum," is borrowed from one of their duets, dedicated to the girls from the Romanisches Café in Berlin in the 1920s. Like this chanson, each of their songs tells a little story from real life—melancholic, cheeky, cheerful, or sensual—captured and carried by the sounds of the piano.
