They are "wonderfully playful with words, pleasantly approachable, mature, and relaxed," says the music magazine Deutsche Mugge. "Alle Register," the Leipzig band's third album, will be released in September 2025.


It's all there: strong voices, excellent musicians, joy in playing, improvisation. With great musicality, the band has found its very own style somewhere between pop-rock, blues, folk, and singer/songwriter.


KARO NERO's music targets the gut and legs, while the German-language lyrics are more for the head. Often, they hit somewhere in between—right in the middle of the heart. This is honest, profound music that inspires listening, empathy, and reflection. And dancing along, too. A great piece of music from the heart of a constantly changing world.
