More than 75 sketchbooks in various formats already fill a shelf of their own in Christian Badel's drawing studio. It is not unusual for him to find inspiration for new illustrations there later.

Zimmer 16, Florastraße, Berlin-Pankow
A selection of these can be seen in the exhibition in Room 16 in Florastraße (Berlin-Pankow), one of Christian Badel's favourite places to live. The artist lives there and records interesting changes and events in his sketchbook as DailySketches.
For example, life-drawn sketches of the local Berlin music festival Unpluggediaval from recent years are also on display, as well as some of the house portraits from the series "The Houses of Florastraße and Their History".
