Simona Deaconescu / Ioana Vreme Moser / Simina Oprescu

“The Choreography of Water” explores how water might influence our thinking and our lives. Through sound and movement, three dancers explore the body as a fluid entity in which nature and humanity are interconnected.

What would the future look like if people also understood water as a choreographic force? Starting from this question, the interdisciplinary artist trio Simona Deaconescu, Ioana Vreme Moser, and Simina Oprescu explores hydrological cycles in the human body and on a planetary scale.

In an enchanted landscape, three dancers experiment with transparent, water-filled, organ-shaped sculptures that generate sounds through air and fluid currents.

“The Choreography of Water” examines the body as a fluid territory where human and non-human, personal and political worlds intersect.
