EN: One day, photographer and artist Borys Redko decided to scan his archive of photographic film. The archive was vast, and Borys didn’t have the skills to scan it properly. However, he managed to get the job done.
Then a Russian missile struck the courtyard of his Kharkiv home, and the film archive ceased to exist.
Much of what is captured in those photographs of Kharkiv no longer exists.
Many buildings are gone. Many people, animals, trees are gone.Only their grainy electric shadows remain, etched with the scratches of loss.
