Winning, losing, starting over, he describes his life behind bars – from the brutal reality of two of England's toughest prisons to new friendships and unexpected lessons in resilience that brightened his life. His book is more than a survival story: it is the moving story of a comprehensive turning point. Becker candidly recounts the decisions that led him to prison; he reflects on his mistakes and the price of fame. And he describes how, through new relationships, hard-learned survival techniques and the philosophy of Stoicism, he begins to rebuild his life and reputation.
