Reading with Opera Singer Sabine Paßow
Sabine Paßow was born in 1960 in North Rhine-Westphalia. After completing her Abitur, she studied voice at the University of Music and Drama in Hanover.

While still in her first engagement at the State Opera in Oldenburg, she received a guest contract from the Komische Oper in East Berlin.
After the fall of the Berlin Wall, she became a permanent ensemble member there. Her experiences at the Komische Oper shaped her entire professional path.
Since 2000, Sabine Paßow has worked freelance at various opera houses in Germany and abroad. Today, however, her main focus lies in coaching aspiring singers.
One of her heartfelt commitments is the voluntary leadership of an integrative orchestra — a role she has held for over 25 years.
