„Blood & Bricks“ is a solo performance about a brother and sister who grew up close together in Russia – until political beliefs put their relationship to the test.

Now they live in different countries and see the world in very different ways. Some conversations become explosive. Others simply no longer take place.

Through personal stories and self-irony, the performance traces the moment when everything collapsed – and the brother turned to right-wing extremist views. It is an honest attempt to understand political polarisation and to find out what happens to love when opinions are irreconcilably divided.

„Blood & Bricks“ transforms a family drama and stand-up comedy into a biting Stand-Up Dramedy that leaves you with a laughter stuck in your throat and perhaps reveals something uncomfortably familiar.
