Even in winter, the trees play a great role for nature and for all who are at home in it. Now that the trees no longer bear their leaves, it is seemingly not so easy to see who is standing there in front of us. But this event shows that tree identification in winter is less difficult than you might think.

Together with Harald Fuchs, a qualified biologist and certified forest educator, we will go on a discovery tour on the Hahneberg and learn how to recognize which tree it is based on buds, bark and other characteristics. We will learn what the trees actually do in winter and who might be living on them.
