As twilight falls, the secret life of bats begins: Discover their fascinating abilities and use detectors to hear their calls—an exciting nature experience that combines learning and hands-on activity.
A bat researcher will share the latest scientific knowledge and exciting insights in a clear and informative way—supplemented by examples from both local and tropical habitats. During the hands-on portion, you’ll get to experience what you’ve learned firsthand: Using ultrasonic detectors, you’ll make the calls of bats audible and visible, explore their habitats, and learn to distinguish between species. An impressive nature experience that combines knowledge, research, and hands-on discovery.
