The musical collective "The ATs" was founded in 2019 with the goal of bringing both the big and the lesser-known hits of the 80s to the stage – naturally with the unmistakable sound of that decade. Stylistically, the band moves within the various genres of the era, with a clear musical focus on pop, soul, and funk.

The band members are well-known figures in the Berlin music scene and have shared the stage with artists such as Mark Forster, Ben Zucker, Kurt Krömer, Ofrin, Keith Tynes, Ernie Watts, Freddy Fischer, Frank Zander, and in numerous musicals.
