The most recent film in the programme celebrated its premiere at the 55th Berlinale Forum: "In order to resist the contempt back then, I often imagined that the village was a shining stage. And now I want to go back to the village."

Janine's decision is made. Together with her asthmatic partner, she turns her back on Berlin. But her queer appearance does not only evoke positive associations on the lifeless village streets.
