22nd Sanddorn Festival

The Sea Buckthorn Festival has always showcased the full range of this bright orange berry. Whether as juice, jam, Federweißer, barbecue sauce or in natural cosmetics – sea buckthorn shows its most versatile side in Petzow.


This year with an ice-cold premiere: our new sea buckthorn ice cream will be presented to the public for the first time. Ice-cold enjoyment is on the house – just drop by and grab a serving. It's creamy, fruity, easily digestible for people with lactose intolerance – and a statement for regional culinary culture.

A feast for all the senses

This year, the experience day will be even more colourful – not only in terms of cuisine, but also music: the Potsdam pub choir will bring a breath of fresh air to the stage with its performance and original reinterpretations of well-known songs. No sheet music, no choir director – just a lot of heart and voice.

There is something for everyone at the Sea Buckthorn Festival: look forward to live music from the Potsdam-Mittelmark District Music School, rousing performances by cheerleaders and appearances by regional clubs. Face painting, a bouncy castle and the opportunity to experience friendly alpacas up close will keep the little ones entertained.
This makes a day at the Petzow Sea Buckthorn Garden an experience for the whole family.


Easily accessible – now with a large car park This year, an additional, spacious car park is available just a few minutes away from the festival grounds. This means that visitors arriving by car can park with ease and enjoy the Sea Buckthorn Festival to the fullest. Of course, it is still possible and welcome to travel by bicycle or public transport.
