At the art festival on the outskirts of the city, artists show that art connects, confronts and entertains.The art festival, which takes place in Mahlsdorf, aims to break with the genres and to let different qualities and attitudes of art interact with each other.
Classical piano music meets contemporary readings, poets Stefanie Hauser and Elisabeth Weber; The story Songs of "Dried fruit" already have a small fan base in Marzahn-Hellersdorf-they meet the young band "Riders Connection" which inspires with their energy and cheerful sounds between pop, soul and reggae. There will be a performance by the artist Jana Bait and also one of the most famous string quartet Marzahn-Hellersdorfs the "Oriel-quartet" is presenting.
The Youth art School opens its exhibition of the adolescent artists from the district and offers workshops for children who invite to participate! Also for adults there will be a chance to work artistically. Others simply enjoy the successive different impressions in the house and Garden of the Kunsthaus flora.
Outside there is an artistic dealer offer with books, ceramics and also honey from the Berlin border region.
