Du Bonheur
Happiness you can bite into
At Du Bonheur, every bite is designed to help you forget the burdens of everyday life. Surprising textures, perfectly balanced flavor combinations, and pure enjoyment are at the heart of the art of patisserie as practiced at Brunnenstraße 39 in Berlin-Mitte.
Anna Plagens and Stefan Zuber opened Du Bonheur in 2013, bringing the patisserie skills they learnt in Paris, Vienna and Munich to Berlin. Today, Anna Plagens runs the business alone and sweetens Berlin's everyday life with her creations made from spelt, butter and sugar. She learnt the French confectionery trade in Alsace and perfected it in Paris. Her macarons, tartlets and desserts bear witness to the skills she acquired during her time with Parisian pâtissier Pierre Hermé.
With Cannelés Bordelais, Kouign amann, Millefeuille, Eclairs and almond croissants, French-style indulgence is possible in the centre of Berlin. The high-quality ingredients are celebrated here just as much as the end products that can be admired in the shop windows. All products are made exclusively with spelt and almond flour, without the use of chemical fertilisers and are completely edible for people who cannot tolerate wheat
