Dicke Wirtin
Old, Berlin tradition
The old Berlin pub-restaurant is located in the west of Berlin at Savignyplatz in Charlottenburg. The name is dedicated to the original “dicke Wirtin” (fat landlady) Anna Stanscheck, who mainly cooked for artists, authors, actors and students at the nearby art academy many decades ago. Hearty Berlin dishes complement the large selection of draught beers and spirits on offer here. The quaint pub enjoys a good reputation that extends far beyond the city.
