Concerning the attack at the Berlin Pride 2026

We strongly condemn the incident that took place near the Berlin Pride celebrations yesterday evening. We are deeply saddened by what happened. Our thoughts are with those affected and their loved ones. We wish those who were injured a full and speedy recovery and thank the emergency services for their swift and dedicated response. 

Despite the grief and sadness, Berlin will not allow its way of life, its openness and its culture to be taken away. Berlin remains an open, diverse and vibrant city. There is no place for hatred or violence here.
