Christmas market by the Dorfkirche Marienfelde
Christmas Market in Berlin from 2 to 4 and 9 to 11 December 2022
In the very south of Berlin, the Protestant parish and other organisers invite you to linger at the Christmas market. At the same time, Lehmann's farm also opens its doors to get in the mood for the Christmas season.
The atmospheric Christmas market takes place again this year by the Dorfkirche Marienfelde and on the Marienfelde village green. Like every year, it opens its doors on the second and third weekends of Advent. The Christmas market is organised with historical flair by the Protestant parish of Marienfelde and other organisers. The Dorfkirche Marienfelde dates from the 12th century and is therefore one of the oldest village churches in Berlin.
Everything your Christmas market heart desires
From quality artisan goods to Christmas presents, barbecued meats, pastries and of course mulled wine, you will find everything required for a cosy Christmas market. The many well-preserved buildings in the old village centre also radiate a historical flair. Not only can you immerse yourself in the festive mood in a contemplative atmosphere, you can also discover the old village.
Especially for families with children, a detour to the nearby farm Lehmann, directly on the Marienfelder Dorfaue is recommended. Here they can enjoy a cozy Advent atmosphere in a family atmosphere.
Live music in the village church
The old village church is also incorporated in the programme: a variety of cultural events, live music, community singing and a closing concert take place here and the parish presents its work.
Handicrafts and raffle
There are various handicraft activities on offer for children from Haus der Ideen and the TSV Marienfelde sports club has prepared a big raffle as it does every year.
