Kleiner Kosmos Sand
You’ll knead, press, layer and break up the sand, let it trickle, crumble or roll, and experience how new shapes and surfaces are constantly emerging.
Your experiments will become your own pictures. You’ll use a drawing pen to capture shapes and outlines. You’ll then see your creations in a whole range of sizes – sometimes as if under a magnifying glass, sometimes projected onto the wall in giant form.
Much like the artist Jeewi Lee in her exhibition ‘Residual Memories’, you’ll focus your attention on the traces left by movements in the sand – traces that are easily overlooked in everyday life.
