Two parallel exhibitions present iconic works by renowned Berlin-based photographers and offer the opportunity to discover new talent.
4 weeks | 4 exhibitions | 4 photo talks | 16 photographers
BerlinDiscoveries sees itself as a platform that highlights the diversity of photographic perspectives from Berlin. Four one-week exhibitions will showcase photographic series
or related works from the fields of documentary, portrait, conceptual, or experimental photography.
The focus is on photographs with a clear stance, distinctive visual languages, and works that critically reflect on relevant contemporary themes—whether in an urban context, in private spaces, or within social discourse.
The works were selected by a renowned jury of experts:
Valentina Crosato (laif Foundation), Helena Melikov (publisher at SHIFT Books and book designer), Katharina Mouratidi (artistic director of f³ – freiraum für fotografie), and Ingo Taubhorn (exhibition curator and photographer, former chief curator at Haus der Photografie, Deichtorhallen Hamburg).
