With a diverse range of visual styles, the gallery was packed to the brim. Today, 20 years later, we can still speak of packed vernissages, driven by wonderful artists and their works and a curious, inquisitive, knowledgeable, and mostly relaxed audience.
A meadow is a meadow, a cow is a cow, a picture is a picture. (Herwarth Walden)
All genres of art seek to be connected and presented. The collegium artis association has come a long way with the support of the Culture Department at the Treptow/Köpenick District Office, as well as other understanding patrons. Within the association, artists have come together and found dedicated allies to give art a special place in both public and personal life.
Now the association hopes for continued support from the city, the artists, and a receptive audience, having been based at number 22 for a few years.
