This interactive tour, featuring creative hands-on activities and research tasks, invites children—with or without their families—to explore various collection pieces, understand their materials, and trace their journey to the Zeughaus.
Participants will step into the world of knights, see accounts from travelers, hear the story of a room, and marvel at other exhibits. At the end of the tour, we’ll discuss how the collection of nearly one million objects came to be and what underpins the work of museums: collecting, preserving, researching, and communicating.
