by Anne Leinen aka artful__anne

When we are moved, something begins to resonate within us—sometimes through an image, a color, or a texture; sometimes through a moment that cannot be explained right away.

The Lichtenberg-based artist Anne Leinen works precisely with such moments.

Energy meets resonance

Her abstract paintings are not about “correct understanding,” but about personal experience. Each work has a different effect—depending on who is standing before it.

Sometimes a clear impression emerges. Sometimes something that can’t be grasped right away—yet lingers. The artist calls such moments “jam jar moments,” which condense, transform, and unfold their own, often surprisingly positive resonance. The exhibition invites you to engage with this perception—without fixed expectations, with openness to new perspectives.

A moment for seeing, for pausing, and for sharing.

The exhibition is curated by the gallery team of the oskar Volunteer Agency and can be viewed until June 26, 2026
