Enjoying art for older people

Exhibition Talks for Seniors.

Following the great success of previous years, the Kollwitz Museum once again invites you to special exhibition talks. Under the theme “Turning Points in Käthe Kollwitz’s Life,” these events will take place on three selected Saturday afternoons, providing a space for discussion, memories, and new perspectives on the work of this significant artist.

In a relaxed atmosphere over coffee and homemade cake, they will explore the defining turning points in the life and work of Käthe Kollwitz. Her art addresses both personal and societal changes—themes that remain relevant today and inspire dialogue.

The 90-minute discussions offer a sensitive and lively introduction to her work as a printmaker, draftsman, and sculptor. Following the group discussion, you will visit the exhibition and engage in conversation about the selected artworks.

The Kollwitz Museum looks forward to organizing these special afternoons together with you.
